to explore gas separation membranes for energy efficient hydrogen production

Synthesized and tested novel polybenzimidazole (PBI) based mixed matrix membranes
via gas permeation experiments

Collected data with Micromeritics ASAP 2010 and LabVIEW Design System Software
Analyzed results with Origin software to quantify and compare the gas separation performance
of PBI mixed matrix membranes to the performance of neat PBI membranes

Wrote, submitted and presented a technical paper titled “Novel Mixed Matrix Membranes
for Gas Separations” at the MLEF Technical Forum in Pittsburgh, PA
